Position Summary:
The Executive Director of Church Operations is a senior leader who oversees the operational and administrative ministry functions of The Church at LifePark (“the Church”) in alignment with and to strategically advance its Christian mission, vision and values. This individual ensures God honoring excellence in all areas of operations—including IT, Human Resources, Finance, Host Ministries, Legal, Communications, Facilities and Office Management—while fostering a Christian culture of accountability, collaboration, and Christ-centered service. This individual will be a follower of Christ who affirms the Church’s Statement of Faith, and will have strong Christian leadership skills, operational expertise, and a shepherd’s heart for serving the body of Christ.
Essential Ministry Functions/Key Responsibilities:
1. Effective Ministry Operations
● Provide oversight for IT systems/data, HR, financial management, facilities, legal, host ministries, communications, and office administration.
● Ensure all operational processes and systems are efficient, effective, and aligned to support the Church’s religious ministry and growth.
● Serve as the Church’s primary leader for all ministry legal matters, including contracts, liability concerns, property issues, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate with legal counsel to ensure timely and accurate handling of legal inquiries, disputes, and risk mitigation in a manner consistent with the Church’s Christian mission.
● Oversee the day-to-day use, care and maintenance of Church buildings and grounds, and provide Christ-honoring leadership and oversight for the planning, construction and launch of new facilities and renovation of existing spaces, ensuring that these projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with ministry needs.
● Proactively evaluate and update technology platforms and communications strategies to ensure the Church is equipped for healthy ministry functioning, future growth and effective ministry-wide communication.
● Lead the annual budget process and manage budgets with diligence, with particular attention to staffing and facility-related costs. Provide regular financial reporting to enable informed decision-making by Church leadership.
● Oversee daily office operations, ensuring an organized, efficient, and well-resourced environment for staff and ministry leaders.
● Ensure host and hospitality ministry is effective so everyone God brings to the Church experiences a warm, Christ-centered welcome.
2. Strategic Ministry Leadership & Alignment
● Prayerfully partner with the Senior Pastor and the Church leadership team in strategic planning, vision development, and strategy execution to advance the Church’s mission.
● Provide clear data, dashboards, and insights on key ministry and operational metrics to support the Church’s mission.
● Anticipate future needs and proactively design systems, processes, and strategies to support ministry activities and church growth.
● Serve as a trusted advisor to the Senior Pastor and Church leadership team.
3. Shepherd Team & Staff Development
● Oversee HR processes – including hiring, training, compensation, benefits, performance management, workforce planning, policy development, and staff support – to build a ministry culture that honors Christ in healthy, effective, and accountable ways.
● Foster a collaborative team culture built on our Scripture-based HEART values: Humility, Excellence, Alignment, Respect, and Taking Responsibility.
● Shepherd and coach supervisors and team leaders to set clear ministry goals, build accountability, and resolve conflicts in a healthy, biblical manner.
● Equip ministry leaders to execute the Church’s ministry vision with clarity, excellence, and alignment.
Minimum Qualifications:
● Mature believer who professes faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
● Affirms full and unreserved agreement with the Church’s Statement of Faith.
● Agreement to live in a manner consistent with the Church’s Statement of Faith.
● Agreement to serve as a role model, both inside and outside the workplace, to Church members, attendees, fellow staff and the community, displaying Christian judgment, dignity, respect and personal behavior.
● Regularly attends a local church whose fundamental beliefs are in alignment with the Church’s Statement of Faith. (If the candidate is hired, the candidate will be expected to become a member of the Church and be fully involved in the life and ministries of the Church).
● Minimum of 7–10 years of leadership and operations management experience, ideally at least some of which would be within a ministry environment.
● Proven ability to lead teams, manage conflict, and build systems in a Christ-like way for organizational health.
● Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, stewardship, and compliance.
● Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills that are consistent with the Church’s mission and culture.
● Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in business, organizational leadership, or related field preferred.

Must be willing to work Sundays and some holidays (Christmas Eve, Easter, etc.)
