Evangelism & Missions Associate


Hours: (FT) 40/week 

The Evangelism & Missions Associate serves on a team that is building a culture within the body of believers at The Church at LifePark to boldy share the gospel through sphere of influence, local outreach partnerships, missions (local, national & international) based on the church’s vision to live life to the full (John 10:10) through knowing Christ, growing in relationships and sharing the gospel. This position requires travel of approximately 4-6 weeks per year (30-40 days), including domestically and internationally as necessary.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

∙ Create and intentionally build relationships with people of LifePark helping them embrace our  culture of sharing the gospel. 

∙ Provide administrative support to the Associate Pastor of Evangelism & Missions. 

∙ Plan and organize logistical details of all mission trips to include the scheduling, planning and  promoting of mission trips. 

∙ Plan and organize local events (Love Local). 

∙ Lead trainings in all areas of Evangelism & Missions. 

∙ Lead short-term mission trips, domestic and international. 

∙ Assist the Associate Pastor of Evangelism & Missions with evaluating and supporting local  partners, church plant partners and missions partners. 

∙ Collect, share, and celebrate stories of those living missionally and engaging in our community.

∙ Assist with maintaining educational paths such as missions blogs and missions walls 

∙ Model the vision by sharing the Gospel and calling people to salvation while teaching others to  do the same. 

∙ Perform other tasks as assigned by the Associate Pastor of Evangelism & Missions.

● Displays a passion for the lost and sharing the Gospel. 

● Demonstrates evidence of a call to the church.

● Exhibits a deep understanding of scripture. 

● Gifted administratively. 

● Ability to effectively communicate – Scripture, sharing the Gospel, sharing personal testimony.

● Easily connects relationally to others. 

● Exhibits servant leadership. 

● Self-motivated with a strong work ethic; teachable spirit; team-player attitude. 

● Bachelor’s Degree required.  

The Evangelism and Missions Associate reports to the Assoc. Pastor of Evangelism & Missions.

Must be willing to work Sundays and some holidays (Christmas Eve, Easter, etc.)
