At KidsPark, we think that elementary kids are awesome and each Sunday we look forward to having a great time together. While in KidsPark, kids get to enjoy activities, see friends, make new friends, learn from cool volunteer leaders in small groups, participate in group worship time, laugh at videos & skits, hear a Bible lesson, eat a snack and more! We believe that children should want to come to church and that they should learn truths that will shape their lives forever.
It is a privilege to minister to the children God brings us and we thank you as a parent for that opportunity. We want you to know that we take the safety and security of your child very seriously. If you are interested in serving in KidsPark or would like to take some next steps as a Christian parent, there are some resources listed in here for you. Please know that we are here for the kids and for you as parents, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
In KidsPark we use a lesson and small group curriculum entitled 'The Gospel Project for Kids'. The Gospel Project for Kids immerses kids in the gospel through every story, biblical concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project for Kids, kids will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story–God's story of redemption.
We are looking forward to seeing you and your child soon at KidsPark!

About Our Staff
Married 28 years to Cindy (Miller); 4 children - Lindsay (24), Cameron (21), Caden (18) , Cooper (15)
Originally from the 'Low Country'; graduated from College of Charleston; moved to Florida then Atlanta while in the Hotel/Resort Industry. Entered the ministry 19 years ago after feeling led following a Mission Trip to Russia. I (along with my puppet friend, Ike) enjoy creatively introducing the Gospel into the lives of children. My motto is 'Engage the Imagination to Give Opportunity for Transformation.' I feel strongly that Children's Ministry is about relationships, not programs. Have coached youth baseball for 18 years (I feel called to mentor/disciple kids through baseball); fan of the Braves; enjoy college football and fishing with my kids. My 'life verse' is Philippians 4:13.
I became a Christian at a Young Life camp when I was 16. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Doug, for 24 years. I have three great children: Clay 20, Michael 18, Ashley 9. I received my under grad at Carson Newman university, and my MAT at Columbia international university. I taught preschool and kindergarten for 13 years. I have coached soccer, and basketball, and taught Sunday school for many years. We have been active at Life Park about 5.5 years. I was hired as Interem Children's director Feb. 2015. In September 2015, my position became more permanent, as The Children's ministry assistant. I love children and I have a passion of sharing Christ w/ children.
