Serving in FirstWave

Volunteer Leader Opportunities:
FirstWave has a team of dedicated and passionate adult leaders, but we are always looking to add more. If you are a college student, young adult, adult or parent and are interested in serving with students, please let us connect with you. We seek to have all types of ages and personalities working with students. Adult Leaders opportunities vary from helping with serving food, to small group leaders, teachers or crowd control.

We take our adult leadership role very seriously, so please note that there is an application, face-to-face interview, background check and ongoing accountability. Working with students is an absolute joy and privilege, and God does amazing things in and through our leaders. Please use the contact form to share your interest with us.

High School Weekly Serving Opportunities:
We believe in students serving at LifePark and so we have partnered with various ministries so that our 9th-12th grade students can contribute weekly. Students are given the opportunity to serve in the café, preschool/children's ministries or middle school on Sunday mornings. Please use the contact form to find out more about students serving at LifePark.

  • Note: Any student wishing to serve in a preschool/children/middle school ministry will be asked to fill out an application. They will also be asked to attend a main worship service each Sunday and be a part of a high school environment weekly (Sunday Bible Study or HS LifeGroup). This ensures that the students who are serving our children are also growing themselves.

High school students interested in serving in the community are encouraged to reach out to Paul Coleman or visit, There are opportunities that students can participate in within our community.

Middle School Serving Opportunities:
See the Upcoming Events page for serving opportunities that are offered for middle school students throughout the year or reach out to McLeod Best to find out what local opportunities are available for students.
